Panduit Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Scheduler in Kulai, Malaysia, to plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules. You will collaborate with Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory use.
The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in SCM/Operations/Business Administration and 2–4 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting, with strong Excel/Power BI skills and bilingual English/Malay

Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules. Collaborate in a cross-functional atmosphere, maintaining constant contact with Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Shipping Operations, and Theatre Supply Chain. Understand and communicate any potential issues, such as labor shortages, supply shortages, or equipment maintenance, that may impact production schedules and delivery commitment.
Production Scheduling: Analyze raw system production plans and create/publish optimum and efficient production schedules for manufacturing/operations, considering customer expectations, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) due date attainment, efficient inventory utilization, and overall efficiencies. Responsible for part level settings that impact lot sizes/run frequency to maximize equipment utilization and optimize both finished good and non-finished good inventory levels.
Raw Material Monitoring: Monitor key raw materials required for schedule attainment and take action/follow up on necessary shortages. Work with the Replenishment Planner to coordinate raw material availability into the production schedule.
Demand Forecasting: Monitor/review demand forecasts to identify changes and determine impact on production plans. Proactively communicate potential problems or issues impacting the attainment of the production schedule. Collaborate with the Replenishment Planner to understand component availability constraints when changes occur.
Communication and Liaison: Communicate commitment dates to and from manufacturing/operations and serve as a liaison between manufacturing/operations and supply chain or customer service. Determine expected available dates for customer requirements, understanding up-to-date supply pictures and expected output. Align with Customer Service on customer delivery priorities.
Supply Chain Support: Support the Supply Chain in proactive development, enhancement, and implementation of scheduling systems and tools. Identify scheduling improvement opportunities and work with peers to drive solutions.
Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Data and Improvement Projects: Create/publish KPI data and participate in improvement projects to support KPIs. Responsible for performance metrics related to customer-facing metrics (such as meeting scheduled ship dates) and internal Panduit supply metrics.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in production planning, production scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment, is preferable. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive attitude to effectively collaborate with and support customers and team members.
Customer Service focused, developing relationships by listening and understanding the customer (both internal and external). Anticipates and provides solutions and alternatives to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction
Proficient in using software and tools to conduct analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in spoken and written English and Malay language.
Experience in a molding or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM
