Job summary

Sin Hock Leong Coach Works is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules, coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing, with proficiency in ERP systems and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand and optimize resource utilization.
Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks or delays, implementing corrective actions.
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
Collaborate with sales and engineering departments to understand product requirements and delivery timelines.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Prepare production reports for management review.
