Job summary

Etika Group of Companies in Malaysia is seeking a Production and Maintenance-driven professional to monitor process parameters, verify HACCP/ISO compliance, and drive improvements across the production line. You will develop and implement SSOP/SOPs, maintain comprehensive logs, and ensure packaging integrity and correct temperatures.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and Production QMS requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage process parameters and production performance.
• Verify production and maintenance checklists including packaging integrity and temperatures.
• Review daily production reports, downtime, line efficiency, and other production data.
• Create and amend production/maintenance log sheets to meet HACCP, HALAL, ISO, and related requirements.
• Develop and implement new SSOP and SOP procedures for production and maintenance.
• Lead weekly meetings with Production and Maintenance teams.

Job description

Responsible for monitoring and managing process parameters.

Verify production and maintenance checklists, including packaging integrity, product holding temperature, mixing temperature, CCP points, and weekly maintenance checklists.

Verify daily production reports, production downtime, line efficiency, and other relevant production data.

Create and amend production and maintenance log sheets to fulfil HACCP, HALAL, ISO, and other applicable requirements.

Develop and implement new SSOP and SOP procedures for production and maintenance activities.

Conduct weekly meetings with the Production and Maintenance teams.

Participate in machine troubleshooting and work closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.

Prepare and update monthly reports on production output, downtime, line efficiency, rejection rates, and other relevant performance indicators.

Participate in new product launches and ensure production readiness.

Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Work closely with the Engineering team to drive improvements in product, line, machine, and overall plant performance.

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and Production QMS requirements.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve production and product quality issues.

Good technical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve machine-related problems.

A dynamic team leader with the ability to lead, train, motivate, and monitor team members effectively.
