Job summary

Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Process Technology professional to support validation activities in dairy processes, design trial runs, collect data, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports.

You will assist in process improvement projects to reduce waste, water, chemicals and energy usage, monitor plant operations, and collaborate across functions to update HACCP documentation and production flow diagrams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Food Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good time management skills with accurate work delivery.
• Strong communication skills; open-minded, adaptable, and able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to work in a multicultural manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Process Technology team in validation activities; design trial runs, collect data, analyze data and prepare reports.
• Assist in process improvement projects to reduce raw material waste, water, chemical, and energy consumption.
• Monitor plant processes daily and support technical troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional operations teams to review HACCP documentation and keep production flow diagrams and HACCP plans up to date.
• Assist the Process Technologist in equipment upgrades and new process commissioning activities.

Job description

Support the Process Technology team in performing process and cleaning validation activities in dairy processes; design trial runs, conduct data collection, perform data analysis, and prepare reports.

Assist in process improvement projects (reducing raw material waste, water, chemical, and energy consumption) and Enstek digitalization projects.

Monitor plant processes daily and support technical troubleshooting activities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams from the operations department to support HACCP documentation reviews and ensure that the production flow diagram and HACCP plan are up to date.

Assist the Process Technologist in equipment upgrades and new process commissioning activities in the processing plant.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Food Engineering.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Good time management skills with accurate work delivery.

Strong communication skills; open-minded, adaptable, and able to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.

Able and comfortable working in a multicultural manufacturing/plant environment.
