Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Production Planner to create and manage Master Production Schedules across daily to monthly horizons. You will balance customer demand with machine capacity, labor, and material availability to keep production on track.
You will monitor loading, address bottlenecks, coordinate with Supervisors and other teams, and maintain precise ERP/MRP records. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are essential.
Create daily, weekly, and monthly Master Production Schedules (MPS) based on customer orders, machine capacity, labor, and material availability.
Monitor production loading to identify bottlenecks, machine constraints, or delays; adjust schedules promptly for urgent orders, machine breakdowns, or material shortages.
Collaborate with Production Supervisors to ensure schedules are followed and output matches targets.
Coordinate across teams to keep operations moving smoothly:
Warehouse & Procurement: Verify raw material availability and report shortages.
Quality Control: Manage order releases, rejections, and rework status.
Maintenance: Align schedules around planned downtime and equipment repairs.
Monitor production orders through every stage.
Proactively highlight at-risk orders and elevate major delay risks to the Factory/Production Manager.
Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP/WMS systems (work orders, production status, completion logs).
Track and report KPIs including output vs. plan, production efficiency, downtime, material shortages, and On-Time Delivery performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing/Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of relevant experience in production planning, production coordination, or supply chain.
Strong background in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Technical Skills: Production & capacity scheduling, material planning, ERP/MRP system proficiency, advanced Microsoft Excel, production reporting, and data analysis.
Soft Skills: Cross-functional communication, strong follow-up, analytical problem-solving, time management, priority setting under pressure, and keen attention to detail.
