Inter Island Group Pte Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planning Development professional to formulate the Master Production Schedule based on sales demand, factory capacity, and yield rates, ensuring on-time delivery.

The role requires planning risk management, coordinating with departments to adjust schedules, and developing supply plans in line with demand, capacity, and inventory considerations to optimize performance across the production network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in production planning, material control or manufacturing operations.
• Solid knowledge of production operation management and production scheduling.
• Familiar with factory manufacturing processes, capacity analysis and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales demand, capacity and yield rates.
• Lead risk management and coordinate with departments to determine solutions for emergencies and demand changes.
• Manage production-sales-inventory data to optimize supply plans and align with DP/POP.
• Evaluate production progress and adjust DPS; coordinate with teams to handle abnormalities and delivery changes.
• Operate ERP/MES systems and use MS Office tools to support scheduling and reporting.

Job description

Production Planning Development: Based on sales demand, factory capacity, product yield rate and variousproduction constraints, formulate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure the smooth achievement of sales delivery requirements.

Plan Risk Management & Coordination: Lead the handling of high-risk items in production plans and coordinatewith relevant departments to determine solutions; Respond to emergency demand changes, material supplyfluctuations and other situations, and overalladjust production scheduling and sales delivery arrangements.

Production-Sales-Inventory & Supply Planning: Manage the production-sales-inventory data of all products to realize the rationalization of supply plans; Formulate the Production Order Plan (POP) according to the SalesDemand Plan (DP), production capacity and finished product inventory; Develop supply plans in combinationwith sales demand, production plans and actual production conditions, and timely synchronize supply changeinformation.

Production Abnormality Handling: According to the actual production progress of the factory, evaluate theimpact on the Delivery Planning Schedule (DPS), and coordinate with the factory, Production Control (PC) andother teams to adjust production plans; Timely handle the emergency changes of delivery plans caused byproduct abnormalities, new product mass production and other factors.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or above; At least 3 years of relevant working experience inproduction planning, material control or manufacturing operations; Solidly master the knowledge of productionoperation management and production scheduling; Those familiar with factory manufacturing processes,capacity analysis and related technologies are preferred.

Core Competencies: Possess excellent communication and coordination skills and team collaboration awareness;

Be able to work under pressure and efficiently respond to emergency tasks; Strong sense of responsibility,meticulous and rigorous work attitude, and outstanding execution ability.

Professional Skill: Proficient in production planning management, material control and production control(especially in the mold/machining industry); Have an in-depth understanding of the coordination logic of production-sales-inventory and supply chain optimization methods.

Technical Capabilities: Skilled in operating ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MES systems; Proficient inthe use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
