Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to prepare Master Production Schedules (MPS) and optimize use of resources across departments to meet targets for product, volume and shipments.

You will release and maintain Work Orders in SAP against customer PO requirements, monitor production against the MPS, and collaborate with Engineering and QA to address deviations affecting planning. The role reports to Planning Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Master Production Schedule (MPS) optimizing resources and coordinating with departments to meet targets for product, volume and shipment.
• Release and maintenance of Work Orders (WO) in SAP based on Customers’ Purchase Order Requirements, and commit shipments against required dates.
• Monitor and ensure Production follows the MPS/Priority, and close WO within the targeted timeline.
• Collaborate across departments to determine materials in house and meet the production plan effectively.
• Manage demand exceptions, inventory and supply.
• Evaluate inventory turns performance and implement inventory controls (pull/push).
• Work with Engineering for ECN/deviations and QA on quality issues affecting planning.
• Support Program Management on E&O and closure follow-through.
• Participate in NPI Projects and Interplant Product Transfer activities.
• Meet KPI of Planning Department.
• Any other duties as assigned by Planning Manager/company.

Release and Maintenance of Work Orders (WO) in SAP based on Customers’ Purchase Order Requirements, and commit shipments against required dates.

Monitor and ensure Production follow strictly to the MPS / Priority, and to close WO within the targeted timeline.

Collaborate across departments to determine materials in house requirements and meeting the production plan effectively.

Manage demand exceptions, inventory and supply.

Evaluating inventory turns performance and implementing inventory controls, such as materials pull and push strategies based on planning analysis.

Work with Engineering for ECN and deviations, as well as QA on quality issue that affects production planning.

Supporting Program Management on the E&O and follow through for closure.

Participate in NPI Projects and support for achieve milestones of the project delivery schedule.

Participate in Interplant Product Transfer activities.

To meet KPI of Planning Department.

Any other duties as assigned by Planning Manager/company.
