Job summary

Mega Fortris Group in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate and optimize daily production planning. The role focuses on forecasting, scheduling, and aligning with customer requirements while leveraging ERP systems to streamline reporting and control of the production lifecycle.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Production Planning or related roles.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands-on ERP experience, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• In charge of production planning for Production Department.
• Forecast and schedule production to maximize machine capacity and labor.
• Plan production per customers’ requirements.
• Collaborate with Order Processing to meet shipments/delivery schedules.
• Maintain production information system using ERP.
• Utilize Oracle NetSuite planning features (Smart Lists, Task Lists, work orders, reporting).
• Interact with staff at various levels to resolve production issues.
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials and carton stock.
• Prepare monthly production reports.
• Other tasks as required.

• 1. In charge of production planning for Production Department.
• 3. Forecast and schedule the production for maximizing the machine capacity and labor to improve the production productivity and yield.
• 4. Plan the production as per customers’ requirement
• 5. Work closely with the Order Processing Department to meet the shipments / deliveries schedule.
• 6. Maintain the production information system using ERP
• 7. Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite Planning, including Smart Lists, Task Lists, work order generation, and reporting grids.
• 8. Interact with various levels of staff in organization to resolve production issues
• 9. Monitor the stock level or raw materials and carton boxes
• 10. Prepare monthly production report as and when required.
• 11. Other tasks as and when required

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing Operations, or a related role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong analytical and planning skills.
• Good understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
