Job summary

Allied Precision Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced planner to coordinate production scheduling and materials planning. The role involves creating and updating material requirements, managing ERP production orders, and ensuring on-time delivery through close collaboration with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily production schedules to ensure on-time completion and delivery.
• Prepare and update material requirements and purchasing plans.
• Create, monitor and close production orders in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with different departments to update production forecasts and plans.
• Monitor production progress and resolve delays or bottlenecks.
• Follow up with suppliers on material shortages and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure materials are available on time.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain sufficient safety stock.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on production, inventory and delivery performance.
• Identify and improve existing planning and operational processes.
• Ensure materials are available to support production requirements and avoid production disruptions.
• Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Preferences will be given to candidates who have experience in Production, Material Planning.

Experience in ERP system is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently.

Resourceful, independent and meticulous.
