VIVAX METROTECH SDN. BHD. is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner specializing in sub-assembly planning to ensure timely and efficient production feeding the master schedule.

The role collaborates with procurement, engineering and production teams, maintaining accurate schedules in ERP/MRP systems, and supporting lean initiatives to improve throughput and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or equivalent.
• 2+ years of production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of production processes, materials flow and capacity planning.

Responsabilités

• Develop and issue detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to confirm material and capacity availability.
• Create work order and monitor production progress and revise schedules, when necessary, due to equipment breakdowns, material delays, or staffing changes.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure finished goods are delivered on time.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems including work orders, lead times, and production status.
• Analyse performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, production efficiency, order cycle time) and recommend improvements.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities clearly to production supervisors and related departments.
• Participate in daily manufacturing meetings and cross-functional planning sessions.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to create and maintain accurate sub-assembly schedules that support the master production plan.

Key Responsibilities:
