Job summary

Fuji Bakery Supplies (M) Sdn Bhd in Puncak Alam, Selangor is seeking a highly capable Production Manager to oversee our bakery manufacturing operations, optimise production schedules and ensure quality and safety across the facility.

About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Manager to join Fuji Bakery Supplies (M) Sdn Bhd in our Puncak Alam, Selangor facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing our manufacturing operations and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality bakery supplies. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for optimising production schedules, managing resources, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across our facility. This role is essential to our operational success and directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands whilst maintaining profitability.

What you'll be doing

Planning, scheduling and coordinating daily production activities to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines

Overseeing production operations across all shifts and ensuring adherence to production targets and timelines

Managing inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimise stock availability and minimise waste

Monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process and implementing corrective actions when standards are not met

Supervising and mentoring the production team, including planning, assignment and performance management of staff

Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiency measures to enhance productivity and reduce costs

Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across the production facility

Liaising with quality assurance, sales and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction

Maintaining accurate production records, reports and documentation for audit and compliance purposes

Managing equipment maintenance schedules and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimise downtime

What we're looking for

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a production management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and logistics within the food or bakery manufacturing industry

Proven experience in managing production teams and demonstrating effective leadership and communication skills

Solid understanding of quality control procedures and food safety standards

Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and efficiency optimisation techniques

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Production Management, or a related field

Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are advantageous

Experience with ERP systems and data analysis is preferred
