Job summary

Fortune Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Malaysia. You will drive production planning, oversee quality and safety programs, and manage cross‑functional teams to meet business objectives.

The role requires a hands‑on leader with a track record in P&L, budgeting and continuous improvement. Join a growing FMCG environment and contribute to sustained profitability and product excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Technology, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• At least 5 years in a senior management or factory leadership role.
• Strong production management experience with proven expertise in P&L, budgeting, cost control and operational improvements.
• Good understanding of ISO 22000, HACCP, Halal, GMP and relevant manufacturing regulations.
• Hands-on leader with excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
• Commercially minded, results-driven and passionate about building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Overall Operations: Take charge of factory operations and business functions, ensuring efficiency, productivity and profitability.
• Drive Production Excellence: Oversee production planning, output, manpower utilisation, quality, cost control and continuous process improvements.
• Provide Strategic Leadership: Lead and develop cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and achievement of business objectives.
• Manage Financial Performance: Monitor monthly P&L, annual budgets, manufacturing costs and profitability while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Optimise Resources: Oversee supply chain, procurement, inventory management, machinery maintenance and factory facilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Champion Food Safety & Quality: Lead ISO 22000, HACCP, Halal and GMP compliance, including certification audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance: Oversee workplace safety, regulatory compliance, PDPA requirements and statutory inspections.
• Support Product Innovation: Collaborate with R&D and QA/QC teams on new product development, product enhancements and manufacturing improvements.
• Drive Team Performance: Establish departmental KPIs, develop talent, strengthen workforce productivity and support succession planning.
• Support Business Growth: Identify operational improvement opportunities, enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to the company's long-term growth.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Liaise with regulatory authorities, external stakeholders and Top Management on operational, compliance and business matters.

What We're Looking For
