Job summary

• Minimum 6 years experience in high-volume manufacturing with stamping.
• Knowledge of stamping operations and related tooling is essential.

• Able to interface with other departmental managers and vendors.
• Ability to prioritize daily workload and multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day stamping operations.

• Ensure quality during new product development and production.
• Plan capacity, scheduling, and material usage to meet forecasts.

• Set standards for production/tooling/QA and support areas.
• Lead tool designers and technicians to support stamping design.
• Plan and implement ERP system functionality.

Production Manager responsible for overseeing and directing all stamping employees and fulfilling departmental responsibilities in a high volume manufacturing environment. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality standards, optimizing production capacity, and leading cross-functional teams to meet corporate delivery, sales, quality and cost goals.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage all activities of day to day operations

Monitor performance of business area to meet corporate delivery, sales, quality and cost goals

Work closely with customers, production and suppliers in solving quality issues and meeting quality requirements

Ensure and control ultimate quality during new products development stage

Ensure planning and scheduling activities of production capacity to meet sales forecast and highlight / resolve issues of constraints

Organise and manage raw materials stock and all future usage planning versus customer projection

Plan and execute machinery/ tooling and supporting equipments to be in good condition for production run by establishing preventive and predictive maintenance and schedule

Establish / plan and execute standard for production / tooling / QA and all support areas in stamping floor towards quality aspects and impacts

Lead a team of tool designers, technical drafting personnel and tool maker to produce stamping design for precision stamping die and production line support

Plan and implement functionality of ERP system

About you

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 6 years experience relevant design and hands-on experience in high volume manufacturing environment

Knowledge of stamping operation

Good leadership and communication skills

Sound judgments in direction of departmental employees

Ability to interface with other departmental managers with personal and computer literacy

Ability to prioritize daily work load and multi task

Ability to interact with company vendors

Ability to specify departmental equipments
