Job summary

GENITRONIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is expanding its electronics manufacturing operations in Sungai Petani, Kedah, and seeks an experienced Line Leader to manage the SMT production line for single-board assemblies.

The role requires hands-on leadership in SMT and DIP processes, with emphasis on output, quality, and on-time delivery. Applicants should have 3+ years in electronics manufacturing, 1+ year in a leadership role, and familiarity with Panasonic NPM pick-and-place equipment, SPI, and AOI.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an electronics manufacturing workshop.
• Experience as Line Leader/Shift Leader for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Manage SMT production line in single-board workshop.
• Oversee SMT placement, reflow soldering, DIP, wave and selective soldering, and crimping.
• Lead team to meet production output, quality and delivery targets.

Job description

Willing to work both day and night shifts.

Must have experience working in an electronics manufacturing factory.

Responsible for managing the SMT production line in the single-board production workshop, covering:

• SMT placement
• Reflow soldering
• Through-hole insertion (DIP)
• Wave soldering & selective soldering
• Crimping
• 5DX inspection
• ICT testing

Ensure that production output, quality, and delivery targets are fully achieved, while leading the team to complete the production plan.

2. Job Requirements

Education

Technical/vocational certificate, high school or above.

Diploma or relevant qualifications in Electronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related fields are preferred.

Experience

At least 3 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing workshop.

At least 1 year of experience as a Line Leader / Team Leader / Shift Leader.

Must have hands-on production management experience in both SMT and DIP processes.

SMT Equipment

Familiar with Panasonic NPM pick-and-place machines.

Proficient in the operation and changeover of:

• Reflow ovens
• SPI
• AOI

Process Knowledge

Strong understanding of the complete SMT manufacturing process.

Quality

Familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control).

Knowledge of first-article inspection (FAI) and routine/in-process inspection procedures.
