Job summary

Fuciphagus Agritech Sdn Bhd (FASB) in Penang invites a hands-on Production Executive to join our Production & Operations team. You will work beyond routine production, gaining exposure to planning, manpower, cost, and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on efficient, cost-conscious manufacturing, with cross-functional collaboration and emphasis on GMP/HACCP compliance. A diploma or degree in relevant fields is preferred, with 2–4 years in manufacturing advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Manufacturing, Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related disciplines.
• Preferably 2–4 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or GMP-controlled manufacturing is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of production costing, manufacturing cost or COGS will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate daily and weekly production plans based on orders, priorities and production capacity.
• Plan and arrange manpower, materials, machines and other production resources.
• Monitor daily production progress and ensure production targets and delivery timelines are achieved.
• Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Purchasing, R&D and other departments for smooth production execution.
• Support manpower and overtime planning according to production requirements.
• Monitor production output, productivity, manpower utilization, yield, wastage and downtime.
• Analyse performance gaps and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.
• Participate in process improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Learn to calculate and monitor manufacturing cost and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) for production output.
• Ensure production activities comply with SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), GMP, HACCP, HALAL and food safety requirements.

We are looking for a hands-on and analytical Production Executive to join our Production & Operations team. This role goes beyond daily production execution. You will gain exposure to production planning, manpower and productivity management, manufacturing cost, COGS, basic maintenance and continuous process improvement. If you want to understand not only how to produce, but also how efficiently and cost-effectively we produce, this role will provide practical, hands-on manufacturing exposure.

Key responsibilities

About you

Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Manufacturing, Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related disciplines.

Preferably 2–4 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations.

Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or GMP-controlled manufacturing is an advantage.

Basic understanding of production costing, manufacturing cost or COGS will be an advantage.

Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, process improvement or productivity improvement is preferred.

Basic machine maintenance or troubleshooting knowledge is an added advantage.

Comfortable working with numbers, production data and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, coordination, problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Hands-on and willing to work closely with the production floor.

Able to take ownership and respond quickly to operational issues.
