Job summary

Fuciphagus Agritech Sdn Bhd (FASB) is seeking a proactive Process Engineer to support process improvement and productivity within Production. You will study processes, analyze data, coordinate trials, implement improvements and monitor results.

Structured guidance and on-the-job training will be provided. Fresh graduates and junior engineers are welcome; English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is required, Mandarin for suppliers or technical personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred; other engineering disciplines may be considered.
• Fresh graduates and junior engineers are welcome.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and working with production data.

Responsibilities

• Study production processes, workflows and equipment.
• Analyze productivity, manpower, cycle time and process performance.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop practical improvement ideas.
• Plan and coordinate trials, testing and implementation.
• Compare before-and-after results and monitor improvement performance.
• Support SOP and Work Instruction updates and handover to Production.
• Support maintenance planning, documentation, data tracking and system improvement.
• Work with Production, Maintenance, suppliers and other internal teams.

We are looking for a proactive and curious Process Engineer to support process improvement and productivity within Production. You will study processes, analyze data, coordinate trials, implement improvements and monitor results. You will also support the development of the company's maintenance management system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred. Other relevant Engineering disciplines may be considered.
• Fresh graduates and junior engineers are welcome.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and working with production data.
• Proactive, organized and able to follow through on assigned projects.
• Willing to spend time on the production floor and learn from experienced personnel.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, PDCA, Lean or Kaizen is an advantage.
• Exposure to manufacturing, ERP or maintenance systems is an added advantage.

Language Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin communication skills are required when communicating with Mandarin-speaking suppliers or technical personnel.
