Job summary

Polyparts Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Executive to supervise production workers, plan daily workflows, and ensure on-time completion of orders.

You will train and evaluate operators, verify incoming materials, maintain accurate stock records, and drive actions to minimize rejects and downtime while coordinating with Maintenance.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree and at least 2 years in manufacturing, with experience in plastic injection molding being an advantage.

• Min Diploma/Degree holder or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Strong supervisory skill and problem solving skill.
• Experience in directing and supervising a group of production personnel.
• Possess technical knowledge and adaptable at all phases of the manufacturing processes.
• Experience in precision injection is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production workers including personnel arrangement and process flow monitoring.
• Manage manufacturing orders by planner and oversee daily production operations to ensure on time completion.
• Train and evaluate workers to meet performance and safety requirements.
• Verify incoming materials for correct quantity and quality; ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and submit stock reports for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and packaging materials as requested.
• Ensure production outputs meet customer requirements; initiate corrective actions to minimize rejects and downtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to plan preventive maintenance and address equipment breakdowns.

Job description

Responsible for supervising the activities of production workers including personnel arrangement and process flow monitoring.

Able to manage the manufacturing orders by planner and oversee daily production operations to ensure on time completion.

Train and evaluate workers to meet performance and safety requirements.

To verify all incoming materials received are of correct quantity & good quality, and to ensure all the raw materials, WIPs, finished goods and packaging materials are correctly labelled, easily identified, and kept in proper conditions.

To ensure all stocks within the section are always correct and accurately recorded. To submit stock reports that include all balance raw material stocks, WIP, finished goods, on-hold parts & rework parts within the section at all time as & when requested.

Ensure all production outputs are of good quality that meets customer requirements and to initiate immediate action plan & execute remedial actions to solve and minimize the production of on-hold parts, rework parts or rejects after they are detected, identified and properly segregated.

To check and verify issues or defects raised from Returned Goods Verification Reports, Recall Notice of Non-Conformance Products and Scrap Disposition Authorization and take necessary actions based on their causes wherever specified.

To initiate immediate repair actions on any equipment breakdown in order to resume production soonest possible and reduce machine/production down time.

To ensure production machines, equipment & tools are functioning in full operational efficiency including to plan and coordinate with Maintenance Dept on preventive maintenance program.

To assist superior in any other ad-hoc jobs as and when required.
