Job summary

Sunward Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Executive to assist the HOD and Manager in ensuring real-time closure of BMRs and NAV-related entries. The role emphasizes GMP compliance, proper documentation, and close coordination with production staff to meet schedule targets.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and possess strong organizational, leadership and communication skills. Prior experience is advantageous in a manufacturing/pharma setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production HOD and Production Manager in ensuring timely closure and updating of BMR.
• Ensure timely closure of documentation related to product release.
• Close deviations, Incident Reports, CAPAs, product complaints and investigations promptly.
• Ensure NAV entries and outputs are completed at each production stage.
• Prepare and submit daily production output reports.
• Oversee timely handover of BMR from Production Supervisor to Production Clerk.

Job description

Assist Production HOD and Production Manager in ensuring the timely and real-time closure and updating of BMR.

Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure timely closure of documentation related to product release.

Ensure timely filing and closure of deviations, Incident Reports (IRs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), product complaints, and issue investigations.

BMR and NAV Management:

Ensure timely completion of all NAV entries and outputs at every production stage.

Prepare and submit daily production output reports.

Ensure that the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) is handed over promptly from the Production Supervisor to the Production Clerk.

Oversee the timely closure of production tickets.

Conduct monthly stock-taking activities to ensure accurate inventory records.

Assist Production HOD and Production Manager in managing processes.

Process and Manpower Control

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in production.

Ensure all processes are in order and aligned with the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).

Review and update relevant production SOPs.

Conduct training for all production personnel as planned.

Ensure that assigned personnel are adequately trained for their tasks.

Ensure that the process flow complies with GMP requirements.

Monitor the progress of production and ensure it remains on schedule.

Ensure production output meets yield specifications through proper documentation and investigations.

Recommend workflow and operational improvements to maximize production efficiency and achieve production targets.

Update the Training Needs Matrix (TNM) annually and the Training Needs Identification (TNI) quarterly for all subordinates.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related disciplines).

Knowledge of GMP and production processes in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
