Job summary

Sunward Pharmaceutical Sdn Bhd is seeking a QC Supervisor to manage routine QC testing across raw materials, packaging, semi-finished, and finished products. The role ensures GMP/GLP/GDP compliance and adherence to SOPs and product specs, while reviewing QC docs and supervising lab staff.

You will train lab technicians, support investigations and CAPA, and collaborate with Production, QA, and R&D to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy/ Chemistry or equivalent.
• 2+ years in relevant QC field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise routine QC testing for raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
• Ensure GMP, GLP, GDP, SOPs, POA, and product specifications.
• Review QC documentation, analytical reports, logbooks, and BMR records.
• Supervise and train lab technicians on routine laboratory operations and testing procedures.
• Support routine laboratory testing when required.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment calibration, and sample records.
• Supervise preparation, labelling, storage, and disposal of reagents, chemicals, and samples.
• Support investigations, product complaints, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, and R&D departments on quality-related matters.
• Assist in updating SOPs, specifications, and QC-related documents.
• Manage routine QC laboratory operations in the absence of the QC HOD.
