Job summary

Fitson Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Coordinator to oversee daily operations on the injection/molding lines, ensuring smooth workflow and production efficiency. You will coordinate with multiple teams to meet targets and maintain quality, while providing technical support to lines and resolving issues promptly.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years' experience in plastic injection or electronics, with strong leadership, multilingual communication skills, and proficiency in common

Qualifications

• Minimum STPM / Diploma / Advanced / Degree holders or its equivalent.
• 2–5 years experience in plastic injection / Electronic industry.
• Knowledge of plastic, rubber, silicone mechanical structure is an added advantage.
• Good supervision and leadership skills.
• Good computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams to achieve production targets and quality requirements.
• Provide technical support to production lines.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to process, machine, material, or manpower.
• Work closely with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure production processes comply with quality standards (ISO, customer requirements).
• Support root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct process capability studies and validation activities.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and yield.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, 5S).
• Standardize work processes and prepare SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor manpower utilization and support production planning activities.
• Maintain proper engineering documentation, process records, and reports.
• Prepare technical reports, improvement proposals, and management updates.
• Ensure proper filing and document control.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

What do you need do in this role:

Monitor daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.

Coordinate with production teams to achieve production targets and quality requirements.

Provide technical support to production lines.
