Job summary

Racer Technology Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Manufacturing Planner to lead operational machine planning, material management, and production control. You will ensure accurate order processing and on-time shipments while coordinating with customers on delivery plans and contingencies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in SCM/Logistics/IE/Business and at least 5 years in manufacturing planning, preferably with plastic injection molding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, IE or Business.
• ≥5 years in manufacturing planning; plastics injection molding experience is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Navision system is an added advantage.
• Strong data analysis, statistics, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-department collaboration.
• Self-motivated, independent, and a strong team leader able to perform with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in Taman Perindustrian Sinergi, Senai.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operational machine planning, raw material inventory, and production control to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipments delivered on schedule.
• Proactively monitor order progress; collaborate to implement contingency plans for delays.
• Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery plans.
• Develop and issue daily and monthly moulding schedules based on orders and forecasts.
• Strategically plan and optimize daily machine capacity and manpower allocation.
• Track and follow up on daily production output; escalate deviations to management.
• Monitor material consumption and prepare purchase requisitions for approval.
• Liaise with purchasers to track supplier delivery schedules and avoid disruptions.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with ISO requirements.

Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and that all shipments are delivered on schedule.

Proactively monitor customer order progress; collaborate with internal teams to implement contingency plans in case of potential delays.

Coordinate closely with customers to confirm commitment and delivery plans.

Develop and issue daily and monthly moulding schedules based on customer orders and forecasts.

Strategically plan and optimize daily machine capacity and manpower allocation to meet production targets.

Track and follow up on daily production output; elevate any issues or deviations to management promptly.

Monitor material consumption trends and prepare purchase requisitions (PR) in advance for management approval.

Liaise with purchasers to track supplier delivery schedules and avoid production line disruptions.

Ensure all planning activities and documentation comply with ISO requirements.

Job Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing planning; experience in plastic injection moulding is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with Navision system is an added advantage.

Strong skills in data analysis, statistics, and problem-solving.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Self-motivated, independent, and a strong team leader player able to perform with minimal supervision.
