Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a process engineer to monitor and improve manufacturing processes in Selangor. You will analyze production lines, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.

This role collaborates with Production and QA/QC to sustain quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include root cause analysis, process parameter optimization, SOP/WI development, and participation in continuous improvement programs such as 5S and Kaizen to enhance

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control and improve manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality and efficiency targets
• Analyze production processes, identify process issues and implement effective improvements
• Troubleshoot process, machine and production-related problems to minimize downtime and defects
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor process performance, yield, productivity, cycle time and process capability
• Establish, review and optimize machine/process parameters to ensure stable and consistent production
• Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI) and process standards
• Work closely with Production and QA/QC teams to resolve process-related issues
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production output and process efficiency
• Support line balancing, manpower optimization and capacity improvement activities
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to machines, tools, fixtures, materials and production methods
• Monitor and reduce process variation, scrap, rework and production losses
• Prepare process improvement reports, analysis and documentation for management review
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen and productivity improvement
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with established standards, specifications and safety requirements
• Provide technical support and guidance to Production personnel when required
• Perform any other duties related to process engineering as assigned by the superior
