Job summary

Dura Technology Sdn Bhd, a Malaysia-based company, is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee daily precast concrete production activities. The role focuses on meeting production targets while maintaining quality, safety and cost efficiency.

You will monitor resource utilization, provide technical guidance to production staff, and collaborate with the central production team to align plant performance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in concrete or precast production environment.
• Knowledge of precast manufacturing processes and quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily precast concrete production activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure production targets are achieved in accordance with schedules, quality requirements and safety standards.
• Monitor and optimize utilization of manpower, materials and equipment to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to production personnel to maintain operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the central production team to align plant performance with company objectives and project requirements.
• Identify production challenges and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime and improve output.
• Maintain accurate records of production performance, quality inspections, equipment status, and operational reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, efficiency, product quality and workplace safety.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Support management in achieving operational goals through planning, coordination and team leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in concrete or precast production environment (an added advantage)

Knowledge of precast manufacturing processes and quality assurance standards.
