Job summary

Eastern Pretech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a senior production leadership role based in Beranang, Selangor. You will oversee daily precast production activities, plan schedules, manage manpower and resources, and coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Engineering, Maintenance and Logistics teams.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with 6–10 years of relevant experience in precast/construction.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant technical discipline.
Experience in precast production, construction or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of precast production processes and manufacturing operations.
Proven experience in production planning and manpower management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily precast production activities to meet targets.
Plan and monitor production schedules, manpower, materials, equipment and resources.
Monitor performance, productivity, wastage and costs.
Lead and supervise production supervisors, staff and workers.
Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Stockyard and Logistics teams.
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.

Job description

Manage and oversee daily precast production activities to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.

Plan and monitor production schedules, manpower, materials, equipment and resources.

Monitor production performance, productivity, wastage and operational costs.

Lead and supervise production supervisors, staff and workers.

Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Stockyard and Logistics teams.

Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, safety requirements and environmental regulations.

Investigate production issues, defects and non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

Prepare and analyze production reports and provide regular updates to management.

Liaise with subcontractors, transporters and other external parties when required.

Attend project/site/client meetings when required.

Perform other duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant technical discipline.

Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in precast concrete, construction or manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of precast production processes and manufacturing operations.

Proven experience in production planning, manpower management and production monitoring.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse production data and prepare reports.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong reporting ability.

Disciplined, proactive, responsible and results-oriented.

Willing to travel/attend site meetings and work extended hours or shifts when required.

Note: 5 days work week

Working Location: Beranang, Selangor.
