Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, organize, direct, and monitor all plant production activities. The role aims to meet schedules, yield, inventory, lead-time conformance, safety, and quality targets while controlling costs and wastage.

You will analyze performance and maintenance records, drive corrective actions to improve consistency and minimize downtime, and manage manpower and assets to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering field.
• At least 3 years in related field.
• Leadership, SMT and DIP process knowledge, good problem solving, hands-on.
• Good verbal and inter communication skill in English and Malay. Japanese is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and monitor all production activities of the plant's resources and meet established production specification and schedules, production yield, inventory, lead-time conformance products, safety, housekeeping, volume, cost and wastage targets, and quality standards.
• Analyze production performance, maintenance records, and initiate corrective actions to improve production and product consistency and minimize downtime.
• Plan and manage manpower (including determining workload, delegating assignments evaluating performance and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions), and assets to meet departmental goals and objective.
• Create, maintain and distribute the production master schedule to forecast upcoming work follow master planning from Production Control department and manage procedures and capital resource to maximize productivity.
• Work with QA and other departments to resolve bottlenecks, work stoppages and manage the flow of materials and completion of work.
• Perform any duties as assigned by superior.
• Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance
• Set the quality standards
• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers
• Review worker performance and identify training needs.
• Ensure subordinates follow SOP from time to time.
• Responsible for managing and monitoring the SMT/DIP production process.
