Job summary

Oryx Advanced Materials, Inc. is seeking a materials and inventory assistant to monitor, track, and record incoming raw materials, WIP, and stock levels to keep production flowing smoothly.

You will coordinate with warehouse and materials handlers for timely staging and issuance, maintain scrap and usage logs in the inventory system, and ensure safe storage and labeling according to SOPs and safety guidelines. Basic Excel skills required.

Qualifications

• Basic inventory control experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and record incoming raw materials, WIP, and stock levels to ensure continuous production flow.
• Coordinate with warehouse and materials handlers for timely staging and issuance of raw materials to production lines.
• Maintain scrap and material usage logs in the inventory management system.
• Ensure materials are stored safely, labeled properly, and handled according to SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Communicate daily with internal departments for materials requirements.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits, investigate and report discrepancies.
