About the roleWe are seeking a Product Trainer (Smartphone) to join the company team in a full-time capacity based in Johor Bahru. This is a strategic role within our Workplace Training & Assessment division, where you will play a crucial part in developing and delivering high-quality training programmes to enhance employee competency and organisational performance. As Product Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training initiatives that ensure our clients and internal teams maximise the value of our products and services. This role is pivotal in driving customer success and supporting the professional development of learners across various organisational levels.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop comprehensive training programmes tailored to meet the specific needs of clients and internal stakeholders

Deliver engaging and effective training sessions utilising various instructional methods and learning technologies

Assess learner progress and competency levels, providing constructive feedback and support

Create training materials, manuals, and documentation that support knowledge transfer and retention

Conduct needs analysis and training requirements assessments to identify gaps and opportunities

Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement continuous improvements

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content remains current and relevant

Provide on-site and off-site training support to maximise learner engagement and outcomes

Maintain detailed training records and generate reports on learner progress and programme effectiveness

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging training methodologies within the education and training sector

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Consumer Electronics product training (Smartphone & gadgets), corporate training, or workplace training and assessment

Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programmes to diverse audiences

Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information

Proficiency in developing training materials using Microsoft Office, design tools, or similar applications

Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

Excellent organisational and project management skills with attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
