Job summary

Farmtrac Malaysia is seeking a proactive sales representative to promote and sell product support solutions across spare parts, service, and maintenance packages. You will build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long-term growth.

The role involves visiting farms and sites to understand needs, preparing quotations, and achieving monthly and annual sales targets in the Shah Alam area.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell product support solutions including spare parts, service, maintenance packages, attachments, and related products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers for long-term growth.
• Identify new sales opportunities through visits, follow-ups, and market development.
• Visit farms, plantations, construction sites, workshops, and customer locations to assess machinery usage and support needs.
• Identify customers' spare parts, servicing, and maintenance needs and recommend solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, follow up enquiries, and convert opportunities into sales.
• Work with Service and Technical teams to provide after-sales solutions.
• Promote preventive maintenance and genuine parts to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime.
• Monitor customer usage, service intervals, and replacement needs to identify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, machinery, quotations, sales activities, and follow-ups.
• Develop new customers and expand product support sales within the territory.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support long-term business growth.

• Visit farms, plantations, construction sites, workshops, and customer locations to understand machinery usage and support requirements.
• Identify customers' spare parts, servicing, maintenance, and repair needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, follow up enquiries, and convert opportunities into sales.
• Work closely with the Service and Technical teams to provide suitable after-sales solutions to customers.
• Promote preventive maintenance and genuine/recommended parts to help customers improve machine reliability and reduce downtime.
• Monitor customer machinery usage, service intervals, and replacement requirements to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Maintain good customer relationships and continuously develop existing accounts.
• Develop new customers and expand product support sales within the assigned territory.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, machinery, quotations, sales activities, and follow-ups.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
• Assist in customer events, exhibitions, product campaigns, demonstrations, and promotional activities.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, payments, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Provide regular sales and market reports to management.
• Perform other duties related to sales and product support as assigned by management.

Requirement :

• Experience in machinery, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, automotive, spare parts, after-sales service, or related industries is an advantage.
• Knowledge of machinery parts, servicing, and maintenance is preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Sales-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel for customer and site visits.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Able to work with sales targets and KPIs.
