Job summary

VAT Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Product Quality Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) to strengthen quality planning and problem-solving within cross-functional teams in Batu Kawan. You will manage product quality plans, handle customer complaints, participate in First Article Inspections, internal and external audits, and support in design and process FMEAs.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in mechanical or electronic engineering, has at least 3 years of quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in quality engineering.
• Mandarin language proficiency is required due to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Represents the Quality in innovation, customize and relocation projects, initiating the required quality measures
• Product Quality Planning and management
• Product and component parts approval (First Lot Approval and Product Approval)
• Initialize and approve Initial Sample Inspection
• Coordination and processing of First Article Inspection
• Coordination and processing of customer claims (8D reports and non-conformance report)
• Deviation approval and management
• Ensuring the CE!/CEX requirements
• Supporting change requests and approval processes (quality perspective)
• Supporting in Design and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
• Supporting product management during customer visits and audits
• Perform internal and external audits

Product Quality Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

We are looking for Engineer who is highly motivated and further develop their quality management and problem-solving skill. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional team to support job role needs such as managing product quality plan and customer complains.

Job Specification

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering or any other science/engineering related field

At least 3 years of working experience in quality engineering

Mandarin language proficiency is required due to business needs.

Preferred Qualification

Additional degree in quality engineering or successful track record in a quality engineer position is advantageous.

Profound experience of the quality process (mechanisms) of high-tech components in a highly consolidated market environment on a global scale.
