Job summary

VAT Group in Malaysia (Batu Kawan) seeks a Permanent Quality Engineer to drive product quality, process improvement and global quality initiatives. You will lead quality planning, release approvals, CAPAs, and supplier/customer collaboration to sustain high-tech reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering or any other science/engineering related field.
• Additional degree in quality engineering or successful track record in a quality engineer position is advantageous.
• Profound experience of the quality process (mechanisms) of high tech components in a highly consolidated market environment on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Quality in innovation, customize and relocation projects, initiating the required quality measures
• Product Quality Planning and management
• Product and component parts approval (First Lot Approval and Product Approval)
• Initialize and approve Initial Sample Inspection
• Coordination and processing of First Article Inspection
• Coordination and processing of customer claims (8D reports and Non conformance report)
• Deviation approval and management
• Ensuring the CE!/CEX requirements
• Supporting change requests and approval processes (quality perspective)
• Supporting in Design and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
