Full-Time

At AIREI, we're transforming the palm oil industry through AI-powered technologies, industrial automation, robotics, big data analytics, and Industry 4.0 solutions.

We're looking for a client-facing Product & Implementation Engineer (Palm Oil Mill & AI Solutions) to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our MyPalm Mill, AI Smart Mill, and AI Grading solutions. This position will act as the main connection between our clients and internal technical teams. The successful candidate must be confident when dealing directly with clients, responsive when problems arise, and capable of coordinating practical solutions within the required timeline. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of engineering, automation or industrial technologies and be willing to learn about palm oil mill operations.

Your role will include:

Manage and support MyPalm Mill, AI Smart Mill, AI Grading, and other Palm Oil Mill Digitalization solutions.

Understand basic palm oil mill processes and operations to support product development and implementation.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients during product demonstrations, implementation, testing, commissioning, training, and post-implementation support.

Build professional relationships with mill owners, management teams, engineers, operators, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Assist in gathering technical and operational requirements from clients and project sites.

Understand client operational problems and convert them into clear product, software, hardware, or integration requirements.

Respond quickly to client-reported issues and coordinate with the relevant internal teams until the issue is resolved.

Track all client issues, agreed actions, responsible persons, target dates, and closure status.

Provide clients with clear and timely progress updates, especially during critical system issues.

Remain calm, reasonable, and professional when managing complaints, urgent matters, or challenging client situations.

Work closely with developers, AI teams, automation engineers, PLC and SCADA specialists, vendors, and project teams.

Support the preparation of engineering drawings, layouts, calculations, BQ/BOM and technical documentation when required.

Assist with the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and monitoring of products and systems.

Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing, site testing, commissioning, and performance validation.

Prepare UAT documents, acceptance criteria, issue trackers, technical reports, meeting minutes, and implementation progress reports.

Conduct product demonstrations, client presentations, training sessions, and operational discussions.

Collect feedback from users and recommend practical improvements to the product.

Understand and monitor key palm oil mill indicators such as throughput, OER, KER, FFA, oil losses, downtime, productivity, grading accuracy, and manpower efficiency.

Support the integration of AI , IoT, automation, PLC, SCADA, sensors, CCTV/NVR, MQTT, ERP and other related technologies.

Conduct site visits and surveys to collect information and support project implementation.

Assist in troubleshooting SCADA, PLC, technical, system, hardware, integration, networking and other related issues.

Work closely with the Product Manager, developers, engineers and technical teams to resolve issues and complete project tasks.

Perform other reasonable product, implementation, and technical responsibilities assigned by the Company.

Travel to customer sites when required.

Added Advantages

Previous experience in a palm oil mill with knowledge of mill automation, AI grading, machine vision, instrumentation, or industrial control systems.

Experience in product demonstrations, technical presentations, client training, and preparing proposals, quotations, BQ/BOM, technical specifications, or engineering documentation.

Knowledge of AutoCAD/engineering drawings, experience with multilingual or international clients.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering fields.

Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, automation, instrumentation or control systems.

Knowledge of engineering drawings and AutoCAD is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, IoT, sensors, AI or system integration is an advantage.

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Willingness to learn about palm oil mill operations and industrial technologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel to customer sites and palm oil mills when required.
