Job summary

PT SMART ENGINEERING INDUSTRIES is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the palm oil industry. You will identify opportunities, tailor technical solutions, and present demonstrations to customers.

The role requires a engineering degree or diploma and at least 3 years in technical sales within palm oil. You will collaborate with engineering teams and travel to client sites to secure wins and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in engineering, preferred mechanical, electrical or mechatronics.
• At least 3 years in technical sales in palm oil industry.
• Strong understanding of palm oil mill processes and technology needs.

KEY FOCUS

To support business growth by providing technical solutions that meet the needs of our palm oil industry customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies for the palm oil industry.

Provide technical solutions for our products & systems, including Hydraulics, Automation, SCADA, IoT and AI.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals according to customer needs.

Conduct product presentations and solution demos to customers.

Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

Achieve sales targets and KPIs as set.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics).

Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the palm oil industry.

Good understanding of palm oil mill processes and technology needs.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
