MetaComp invites a Product Associate in Malaysia to join the growing Product team. You will support end-to-end product lifecycle from requirements to development, testing, launch and ongoing improvements.

Fresh graduates and early-career professionals are welcome; no prior domain specialization required. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Compliance and Operations to deliver value.

Together with its parent company, Metaverse Green Exchange Pte. Ltd. (a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.

About the Role

MetaComp is looking for a Product Associate to join our growing Product team in Malaysia.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals.

As a Product Associate, you will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from understanding user and business requirements through to product development, testing, launch and continuous improvement.

You do not need prior experience in a specific product area such as mobile apps, web platforms or cards. What matters most is your problem-solving ability, analytical mindset, willingness to learn and strong execution skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development Support

• Support Product Managers in the planning and execution of product initiatives.
• Assist with gathering and documenting business and user requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Support product roadmap planning and tracking.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure smooth product delivery.

2. Product Research & Analysis

• Conduct market, competitor and user research to identify product opportunities.
• Analyse user feedback, product performance and business data.
• Help identify customer pain points and opportunities for product improvements.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging fintech and payment solutions.
• Prepare research findings and recommendations for Product Managers and stakeholders.

3. Product Execution

• Support the Product team in managing product development timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Engineering and other teams to track product requirements and development progress.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), product testing and issue tracking.
• Help identify, document and follow up on product bugs and functional issues.
• Support product launches and post-launch monitoring.

4. Product Documentation

• Maintain product requirements, user stories, process flows and other product documentation.
• Prepare product specifications and supporting materials for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure product documentation remains accurate and up to date.
• Assist in preparing product presentations and product updates.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams including:
• Design
• Operations
• Compliance
• Risk
• Finance
• Business Development
• Customer Support
• Follow up on action items and ensure stakeholders remain aligned on product requirements and timelines.
• Communicate product updates and issues clearly to relevant teams.

6. Product Performance & Improvement

• Monitor product metrics and performance after launch.
• Help track user adoption, usage patterns and other relevant KPIs.
• Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve product functionality, user experience and operational processes.
• Support Product Managers in prioritising product enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 0–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, project management, fintech, technology, consulting or a related field is an advantage but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of how to break down problems and identify practical solutions.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Excel/Google Sheets or similar productivity tools.
• Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology.
• Basic data analysis skills.
• Interest in fintech, payments, digital assets or financial technology.
