Job summary

Wiwynn in Malaysia, Kulai is seeking a Senior Procurement Associate to streamline PO release based on correct lead times and unit prices, ensuring delivery dates are followed up and confirmed.

You will manage POs with ECR/ECN/ECO, maintain supplier relationships, and monitor supplier performance while controlling inventory to avoid excess. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in Purchasing/Supply Chain and hands-on experience with PCBA components.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Prefer experience in PCBA electronic components purchasing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and material chasing skills; knowledge of purchasing operations flow.

Responsibilities

• Release purchase orders based on MRP demand, lead time and unit price.
• Maintain or update PO Delivery Date Change Process.
• Manage PO activities when PN have ECR, ECN, ECO.
• Participate in MOQ PO escalation process.
• Handle salvage (DOA/RMA) issues.
• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance monthly.
• Inventory control to avoid PO and material excess.

Job description

Senior Procurement Associate is responsible to release purchase order based on the right lead time and unit price to supplier which including delivery date follow-up and confirmation.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• Responsible to create, adjust or cancel purchase order based on MRP demand
• Maintain or update PO Delivery Date Change Process.
• Responsible for PO management when PN have ECR, ECN, ECO
• Involvement in MOQ PO Escalation process
• Salvage (DOA/RMA) solving.
• Maintain good supplier relationship and monthly evaluate supplier performance.
• Inventory control to avoid PO and material excess.

Requirement for this position:

• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain. Prefer with experience in PCBA electronic component purchase skill and knowledge.
• Microsoft Office, SAP, Outlook, communication skill, material chasing skill, and purchasing operation flow.
• Advantage to candidate who have experience working in Electrical & Electronic; PCBA industry.
