Job summary

Unigen Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior sourcing professional in Kedah to lead the sourcing team and support SCM activities. You will collaborate with vendors on BOM cost reductions and LT improvements, and work with the QA team to evaluate suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, 7–8 years in purchasing or import-export, and 3–5 years in PPV management. Strong ERP experience is essential.

Job description

Manage sourcing team and support Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities, including vendor management, cost reduction, and supplier evaluation.

Work with Vendor on BOM cost, cost & LT reduction

Find, evaluate & select suppliers with QA team

Support SCM Manager to Control/Operate SCM activities

About you

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or equivalent in the relevant field

At least 7–8 years' experience in purchasing job, or import-export field

At least 3-5 years' experience in managing PPV (Purchase Price Variance)

Solid experience in E&E, EMS or OEM, Semiconductor, electronic components, Engineering manufacturing industry

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

High interpersonal skills and willing to take challenges

Knowledge of raw materials, suppliers, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software

Use Microsoft software package competently (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of ERP; Oracle / SAP / Microsoft Navision / Others (>5 years' experience)
