Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Procurement/Sourcing Specialist to oversee material replenishment and vendor performance to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. You will administer purchase orders, monitor fulfillment timelines, and coordinate with suppliers to meet quality and ESG standards.

The role requires practical experience in manufacturing procurement, knowledge of procurement lifecycles, ERP systems, and strong negotiation and communication skills to optimize supplier

Qualifications

• Practical background in operational procurement, inventory control, or material management within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of procurement lifecycles, contract order execution, and supply market dynamics.
• Applied experience operating enterprise resource planning platforms and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Degree in supply chain management, procurement, logistics management, business administration, or a matching field.

Responsibilities

• Administer purchase orders and monitor fulfillment timelines to ensure consistent material delivery schedules.
• Evaluate supplier capacity and track supply market conditions to adapt procurement schedules proactively.
• Regulate inventory levels across assigned categories to balance supply availability and minimize surplus stock.
