Junior/ Sr Procurement Executive (Selangor/ KV) - Manufacturing

Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end purchasing activities within a manufacturing environment in Selangor. You will manage requisitions through to PO issuance and delivery tracking, while coordinating with QA and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow and compliance.

The role requires 2–6+ years of direct procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with ERP/MRP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 6+ years of direct purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing or production.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP/WMS software will be a plus.
• Proven track record in vendor negotiation, supplier evaluation, and inventory planning.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound understanding of procurement audit requirements.
• Fluency in Mandaaarin is an added advantage to liaise with regional suppliers and overseas vendors

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Procurement: Execute full-cycle order processing, from requisition to Purchase Order (PO) issuance and delivery tracking.
• Sourcing & Negotiation: Conduct market research, identify potential local and overseas vendors, and negotiate competitive pricing, credit terms, and contract conditions.
• Inventory & Planning: Monitor stock levels and buffer requirements to prevent production line disruptions while maintaining optimal inventory controls.
• Quality & Vendor Governance: Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to manage non-conforming materials, vendor defect claims, replacements, and credit notes.
• Market Benchmarking: Track raw material market trends and price fluctuations to inform purchasing strategies and budget forecasting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance for 3-way matching (PO/DO/Invoice) and align with warehouse teams on material receipts.
