Job summary

LONGCHEER TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage local end-to-end procurement processes in Malaysia, ensuring timely sourcing and cost control.

You will coordinate with suppliers, finance, and production to secure materials, perform cost analyses, and uphold SOPs while supporting production continuity and audit readiness. Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia are required; Mandarin is a plus. This full-time role is based locally in Johor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years local procurement experience in Malaysia, familiar with local suppliers and market conditions.
• Able to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin speaking is a plus.
• Familiar with local purchasing procedures, PO management, and basic ERP system operation.
• Strong negotiation skill, cost awareness, and sensitive to delivery lead time.
• Good time management, able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, with good teamwork and cross-department communication ability.
• Familiar with manufacturing industry procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end local procurement processes from RFQ to PO and delivery tracking.
• Source, evaluate, and develop reliable local Malaysian suppliers; maintain supplier relationships and performance assessments.
• Follow up daily material delivery schedules to support production continuity.
• Control procurement costs and submit cost analyses and reports.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, quality, and finance to address inspection, returns, and invoice verification.
• Maintain complete purchasing records and ensure SOP/audit compliance.
• Track market price trends and provide supply risk warnings.

Job description

1. Manage end-to-end local procurement processes, including RFQ collection, price comparison, negotiation, PO creation, issuance, and order tracking.

2. Source, evaluate, and develop reliable local Malaysian suppliers; maintain stable supplier relationships and conduct regular performance assessment (delivery, quality, service).

3. Follow up daily material delivery schedule, resolve material shortage and delay issues to support production continuity.

4. Control procurement cost, actively explore cost-down opportunities, and submit regular purchasing data and cost analysis reports.

5. Cooperate with warehouse, production, quality, and finance teams to handle incoming inspection issues, material return, claim settlement, and invoice verification.

6. Maintain complete purchasing records, documents, and system data; ensure compliance with company SOP and audit requirements.

7. Track market material price trends and supply changes, provide proactive supply risk warnings.
