Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source materials, components, and services for PCB manufacturing. You will manage supplier performance and ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance with quality standards.

You should have a PCB manufacturing background, 3–5 years of procurement experience, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. Proficiency in English is required; Mandarin is a plus for supplier communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably in PCB manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PCB materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• English proficiency; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, PCB components, and indirect materials.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery performance, and technical capability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate closely with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams to support production requirements.
• Manage supplier performance, including quality, lead time, and cost improvement initiatives.
• Resolve supply chain issues, shortages, and delivery delays promptly.
• Conduct market research and identify alternative suppliers to reduce procurement risks.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in English; Mandarin is an added advantage to communicate with suppliers from Taiwan or China.
