Job summary

Kes International is seeking a Production Planner with 2–3 years of planning or purchasing experience, preferably in PCBA. The role involves creating production schedules, coordinating procurement, and managing inventory to support timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/ Degree in Materials Management or related field, knowledge of PC/Oracle, and strong analytical and communication skills to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:
Responsible for creation of production planning, procurement, and inventory management activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role involves developing production schedules, managing material requirements and smooth store kitting, procuring components to support production so as to prevent stoppages / delay of boards assembly.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Primary:- Planning of production schedule and monitoring of Plant performance on delivery schedule.

Secondary:- Responsible for procurement of raw materials, electronic components, and production supplies from approved

Job Duties:

Produstion planning and scheduling BIB and Driver boards projects for production assembly

Fuffill monthly targeted billings and on time delivery to customers

Follow-up with respective department on the status of materials and related project information

Conduct periodic meetings to review project status ard recovery plan

Updating of recaris and information en materials and issues encounter on projects

Generate reports on project status updates and communicate with respective departments / customers

Maximise utilisation of production capacity

Improve methedology i systems in execution of job scope

Expecite operations that delay/alters schedules to meet unforseen circumstances

Provide status updates on weekly status meetings with respective dept, as well as customers.

Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, ana implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory turnover and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.

Issue purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to develop accurate production schedules and ensure alignment with customer demand and production capacity

Generate and manage production plans, release work orders, and schedule production activites to meet delivery
commitments and optimize rasource utlization.

Coordinate with suppliers to procure required materials and components, issue purchase orders, expedite dellveries, and negotiate pricing and contracts.

Coordinate with logistics and receiving departments to ensure proper receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials and components

Comply with legal, corporate, and quality policy requirements.

Any other jobs assigned from time to time.

Minimum job requirements:

Qualification: Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Materials Management / Business Studies/ relevant field

Experience: 2-3 years planning experience / purchasing experience, Ability to work with supply chain preferably in a PCBA

Special skills / knowledge / certifications / licenses

Knowledge: Knowledge in PC/ Oracle, Microsoft Office (Excel, Ppt, Words)

Skill set: Planning and coordination in a manufacturing environment and good interpersonal skills. Strong analytical ,negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills

Ability: Proactive with positive attitude in both written and verbal. Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities

Other Characteristics: Meticulous, detail-oriented, Communication, Time Management, strong organizational skills
