Job summary

Kaifa Technology Malaysia is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead the purchasing team and ensure procurement and inventory objectives are met. You will oversee orders, forecasts, and delivery plans, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain material flow.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, a track record in electronics components procurement, and solid knowledge of supply chain management. Based in Kulai, Johor, this role offers stability and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing PCB/electronics components and mechanical/plastic parts is beneficial.
• Strong leadership and team management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing team to meet procurement and inventory management objectives.
• Supervise purchasing activities including issuance of orders, release forecasts and follow-up delivery plans with suppliers.
• Ensure materials are smoothly supplied to meet planning schedule.
• Handle escalation to suppliers to overcome material shortages and supply gaps to meet customer demand.
• Review supplier buffer stock levels and monitor leadtime trends to analyze supply risk and develop supply risk mitigation.
• Engage with suppliers on materials supply issues, accounts payable issues, non-conformance issues and various issues.
• Review supplier quarterly (SQBR) rating

About you

At least 6 years of working experience in the related field

Well experienced in purchasing PCB, electronics components and mechanical/plastic parts

Familiar and experienced in electronic supply channels and supply chain management

Passion, teamwork and good leadership skills
