Mftech Global (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Procurement & Sourcing Assistant to support purchasing activities for awarded projects.

You will assist with supplier coordination, quotation sourcing, PO preparation, order tracking and procurement documentation to meet timelines and budgets. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; strong Excel/Word skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or supplier coordination is an advantage.
Good communication and follow-up skills.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented, organized and responsible.

Responsibilities

Assist in procurement and purchasing activities for awarded projects.
Source quotations from suppliers based on approved project requirements.
Follow up with suppliers on pricing, stock availability, payment terms, and delivery schedule.
Assist in quotation comparison and supplier evaluation.
Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain supporting purchasing documents.
Track order status and follow up on delivery progress.
Coordinate with internal departments on purchasing and delivery requirements.
Assist in checking that products received meet the required specifications and quantity.
Source alternative suppliers when required.
Maintain proper procurement records and supplier documentation.
Provide purchasing status updates to the relevant team.
