Job summary

MFTECH GLOBAL (M) SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Procurement & Sourcing Executive (Post-Award) to manage procurement after project award, ensuring alignment with specs, budget, quality and timeline.

You will liaise with suppliers, issue POs, monitor deliveries, and resolve issues while coordinating with PMO, Accounts and Operations. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong negotiation and numerical skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business-related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; detail-oriented in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and purchasing activities for awarded projects.
• Review final specifications and confirm purchasing requirements before placing orders.
• Source, communicate, and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, availability, and delivery lead time.
• Compare supplier quotations and ensure purchases are within the approved project budget.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and related purchasing documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and order and delivery progress.
• Ensure products and services supplied meet the required specifications, quantity, quality, and timeline.
• Identify alternative suppliers and recommend solutions when supply, pricing, or delivery issues arise.
• Coordinate with PMO, Account, Operations, and other relevant departments on purchasing, payment, and delivery requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and provide procurement progress updates when required.
