Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive Lead for Procurement Operations in Penang who will drive daily procurement services to meet KPIs and SLAs. You will coach the team, manage supplier relations, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize processes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and experience with SAP, Excel, and Tableau. Programming knowledge is a plus and independent collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
• Strong experience in procurement/purchasing and supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in procurement software and tools.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Tableau.
• Knowledge of process automation and procurement optimization.
• Programming knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily procurement service operations to achieve KPIs.
• Coach, train, and develop procurement team members.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods/services according to SLAs and KPIs.
• Manage quotation, supplier evaluation, sourcing and purchasing processes.
• Engage and align key stakeholders throughout procurement activities.
• Prepare management reports, analyze procurement metrics, and provide projections.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time, even under tight deadlines.
• Optimize and automate procurement processes while ensuring policy compliance.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, design systems, and improve technology performance.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and working groups.
• Recommend process improvements and develop tools for continuous improvement.
