Job summary

Fit Future Innovation Technology is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee procurement and sales admin operations in Penang, Malaysia. You will lead the front line of procurement, ensuring timely PO processing, accurate data in SQL systems, and efficient coordination with the Accounts team for payments.

You will negotiate with mid-tier suppliers, manage AVL, mentor junior staff, and drive SOP improvements to streamline site requests, purchasing, and delivery activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Sales Admin (3–5 years).
• Preferably in Construction or Engineering industries.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel and SQL-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: supervise Purchaser and Sales Admin staff to ensure POs and admin tasks are completed within 24–48 hours.
• Procurement Oversight: review and verify quotations and material specifications to meet project standards before final approval.
• Supplier Relations: lead negotiations for mid-tier suppliers and manage the Approved Vendor List (AVL) for reliability and quality.
• Site Liaison: coordinate with Site Supervisors to forecast material needs and resolve shortages or delays.
• Data & Compliance: ensure procurement records and inventories are updated; coordinate with Accounts for timely payment processing.
• Process Improvement: assist in developing and implementing SOPs to streamline flow between site requests, purchasing, and delivery.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: execute additional duties and projects as assigned by Management.
