Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead strategy development and execution. You will align purchasing plans with organizational goals, manage supplier relationships, and oversee daily purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires extensive procurement experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a solid understanding of contract law and market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5–7+ years in procurement or purchasing, in a senior/leadership role.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, contracts, and market trends.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Engineering background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of procurement strategies.
• Implement purchasing plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure contract compliance.
• Identify product demands, schedules and procurement needs.
• Oversee day-to-day purchase orders and ensure accuracy.
• Help manage procurement budget and track expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Support inventory control and stock level coordination.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and savings.
