Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support daily logistics operations, coordinate shipments with customers, transporters and internal teams, and monitor status to provide timely updates.

Fresh graduates are welcome. A Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration is preferred; basic knowledge of shipping documentation, MS Office skills, and good communication are required to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or related field preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in logistics, ocean freight, or imports/exports is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of shipping documentation is advantageous.
• Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.
• Computer literacy with MS Office familiarity required.
• Demonstrates responsibility, eagerness to learn and ability to work independently.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily logistics and operation arrangements
• Coordinate and follow up on shipments with customers, transporters, agents and internal departments
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates
• Prepare and maintain shipping, transport and operational documents
• Assist with data entry, filing and general administrative duties
• Follow up on POD, DO and other supporting documents
• Assist in handling ocean freight / sea freight import and export shipments when required
• Liaise with shipping lines, forwarders or agents on shipment arrangements and documentation
• Perform other operational and administrative duties assigned by the Manager
