Job summary

JINGXING HOLDINGS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Procurement Executive or Procurement Assistant, with fresh graduates welcome for the Management Trainee Programme in Procurement.

You will support daily purchasing activities, source materials and coordinate with local and overseas suppliers. The role requires good communication and documentation skills, Mandarin ability, and familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have procurement/purchasing or supply chain experience.
• Fresh graduates welcome for the Management Trainee Programme in Procurement.
• Experience in manufacturing procurement is advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin.
• Familiarity with ERP and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, organized and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities in line with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Prepare purchase contracts and maintain procurement documentation.
• Source and purchase raw materials, spare parts and consumables.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers on quotations, orders and delivery schedules.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Quality Department and Warehouse on inspections and material acceptance.
• Assist in sourcing, evaluating and maintaining reliable suppliers (local and overseas).
• Support supplier and contractor sourcing, evaluation and performance reviews.
• Assist in procurement cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost improvement.
• Support procurement-related transactions and documentation in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with internal departments on procurement requirements.
• Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by Management.
