Job summary

Smartlink Engineering Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian contract manufacturing and engineering company serving the semiconductor and high-technology industries, is seeking a proactive Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities and ensure timely, cost-competitive procurement of materials, components and services.

You will source suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, monitor orders, maintain records and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, while supporting cost-saving initiatives in

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in procurement or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience.
• Experience in sourcing, supplier management and price negotiation.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/purchasing system experience is an advantage.
• Able to work independently with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities, including sourcing, quotation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, lead time and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve purchasing and delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information and documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and support supplier evaluation activities.
• Assist in cost-saving and procurement improvement initiatives.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

We provide cable harness assembly, electrical and mechanical module assembly, control panels, box-build assemblies and system integration solutions to support our customers' engineering and manufacturing needs.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities and ensure materials, components and services are procured on time and at competitive costs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage daily purchasing activities, including sourcing, quotation, purchase orders and delivery follow-up.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, lead time and reliability.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and other commercial conditions with suppliers.

Requirements :
