Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a procurement professional in Malaysia to source materials, issue POs, and coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering and Warehouse teams. You will evaluate suppliers, support NPI sourcing, and drive cost reduction while ensuring ISO and quality standards compliance.

The role requires a degree in SCM/related field, extensive purchasing experience, and strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Excellent negotiation and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Admin, Procurement, or related field.
• 24 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Familiar with electronic components, mechanical parts, and sourcing practices.
• Good negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with procurement tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and procurement compliance standards is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities
